Brenna's Favorite Boutiques in St. Augustine
For a small town, St. Augustine boasts a LOT of shops, large and small, there is a bustling boutique, it seems, on every corner. If you haven’t been to St. Augustine before, and even if you have, it can be a little overwhelming - but no worries! Here’s a list of a few of our very favorite St. Augustine shops that we return to again and again.
The Artsy Abode Boutique- This bright and trendy boutique is one of my very very favorite in St. Augustine. Housed in the same building as the iconic Casa Monica Hotel, there is an upscale vibe to this little shop that translates to the high quality regional products that they sell. Local brand, Spartina 449, maintains an impressive selection of southern bags, beach towels, and accessories in-store. And my son and I always enjoy checking out the large assortment of handmade Cost-Rican Pura Vida bracelets. The brand maintains an upscale beachy vibe that’s great for pairing with watches and bangles for a fun layered effect. There are so many great brands in this store, including Alex and Ani, and Pandora - and the selection is always being updated. Be sure Artsy Abode makes your list.
So Mermazing & Sandy Soul -Sister stores to The Artsy Abode Boutique, this pair of shops can be found along St. Augustine’s St. George Street, and offer a different selection of fun brands and products, but in a similar vein to the larger Artsy Abode location. They are worth checking out as well.
Two Sparrows - This sweet boutique is definitely in my top two shopping stops in St. Augustine. Much of their inventory is faith-based. They even have a “prayer wall” where you can write a prayer request on a little card, hang the card on a string among literally thousands of other cards, and then say a prayer for the requests of yourself and others. They sell some of the absolute cutest graphic tees and sweaters with inspirational messages on them. I have quite a few. There is also a healthy selection of high quality fashion brands and home goods, as well as boutique baby items and home goods. The atmosphere is shabby chic, southern, and inviting. I could spend all day in here.
Go Fish- This clothing and jewelry company is another faith-based brand that sells really eclectic and pretty pieces. I have found so many cute items in here. The best part? The items sold in this store are purchased from indigenous people in developing nations, so each item you buy supports a brand making a real difference for good in the world.
The Spice & Tea Exchange of St. Augustine - This one is a bit self explanatory, but I have found some of the absolute yummiest teas here! The whole place smells heavenly, and the employees are so friendly! This is a great place to find a gift for family or friends back home.
Faux Paws - For the furry members of the family, you absolutely have to stop by this sweet little shop that’s full of cute and interesting toys, clothing, accessories, and games for your dog. They also sell fresh baked treats! Our dog, Gentry, is a major fan.
