A.T. Hun Art Gallery

Located in Savannah’s bustling City Market, A.T. Hun Art Gallery features eclectic artwork made by local and international contemporary artists. This edgy Historic District gallery carries a wide selection of nontraditional, unusual and funky artwork inside their laidback and relaxed space.

The owner of the gallery, Chuck Hamilton, is also a piano player, and he often entertains guests by playing tunes inside the gallery. Guess which song he’s playing and you may receive a discount!

 

Roots Up

If you’re looking for artwork with a soulful style, Roots Up gallery is where you need to be. This quirky art gallery specializes in Southern folk art, a type of artwork in which the artists have no formal training. All of the artists at Roots Up gallery are self-taught, and many times, artists use materials like mud, scrap wood, house paint and tin to create works that come from the heart.

 

Signature Gallery

For 25 years, Signature Gallery has been showcasing marvelous works of art made by Savannah’s locals. This City Market art gallery has it all – painting, pottery, wood turning, sculpture, glass works and jewelry. Works at this gallery are high in quality with modest prices making it easy for you to pick up your next statement piece for your home or office.

 

Kobo Gallery

Kobo Gallery is an award-winning contemporary art gallery located in the heart of downtown Savannah. This cooperative gallery space features works of over 10 local artists, and each a day, a few of them create new work live in the gallery, so you can ask questions and get to know the artists behind the work.

 

Sulfur Studios

 This shared studio space is unlike any gallery you’ve ever seen. Sulfur Studios has 24 rentable studio spaces, a large gallery, and a second floor that’s perfect for meetings and events. Sulfur Studios often hosts “open studio” nights – a night when artists open their studio doors and guests are welcome to come in and see their latest works. This Starland District gallery hosts plenty of art exhibitions, community events, musicians and more, so be sure to check out their event calendar!
