What if it rains?

In the case of seriously inclement weather we'll send a text notification that your tour has been cancelled, and you'll receive a full refund. We're not afraid of the occasional shower, though. So if it's sprinkling out and you haven't received a text - the tour is on! In cases where the possibility of rain is in the forecast - bring a poncho or umbrella and be ready for a good time! 

IS THE TOUR PET-FRIENDLY?

Pets are honored guests. Absolutely bring your pet. (And doggie clean-up bags.)

IS GRATUITY EXPECTED?

We're a family-owned company, out to provide you with The BEST tour you'll ever have. If you feel led to tip, our hosts will graciously accept. 

Should we make reservations in advance?

Yes. Reservations are required. We accept reservations over the phone or via online booking up to an hour before the start of a tour. Bookings within a half-hour of the start of a tour can only be made by phone (912) 373-6651. We recommend reserving tour spaces as far ahead as possible.

what should I wear?

We suggest opting for comfortable walking shoes and layers that are appropriate to the weather. If there’s rain in the forecast, don’t forget your umbrella!

Are there restroom breaks?

No worries! It's not uncommon for us to take a restroom / grab-a-drink break about mid-way through the tour. Don't be afraid to be the one to ask!

WHAT IF we're running late?

In order to honor the schedules of all in attendance, we aim to begin our tours promptly at the start time. Please arrange to arrive ten to fifteen minutes early. If you are running behind just give a call at our main line, 912-373-6651 , and we’ll do our best to direct you to where you can catch up with your group.

WHAT IF a ghost follows us home?

We suggest some sage and a bottle of wine.  

WHAT IS Genteel & Bard's cancellation policy?

Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours notice of cancellation before your reserved tour time. Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. Due to demand for Genteel & Bard tours, if customer's reservation is booked within 24 hours of tour time, including same day booking, no refunds will be issued for cancellation.
